Progress

The dress is officially ready. I have my shoes. My jewelry is made. The bridesmaids' jewelry is made. I will finish making my veil very soon. I have a plan for hair and make-up. And I'm all caught up on my thank-you notes. I was scheduled to take portraits this weekend, but 25-30 mph winds caused us to reschedule. I didn't want the theme of my pictures to be "Gone With the Wind." I got to take another look at the church to plan family seating and decorations. Mom and I also got a great start on stuffing envelopes. One more week until we mail the invitations!

Today I've made and finalized lists (which included talking to Mom on the phone 2 or 3 times), written thank-you notes, payed all my bills, balanced my checkbook, and shopped for birthday presents for Mom, new dress pants for Dave, and thank-you gifts for my wedding helpers. I just love a productive day. Now I'm going to scan cook books for meal ideas.

Oh, did I mention that I squeezed in taking the GRE the other day? We'll just say it was a good trial run. I think I'll be taking it again. Verbal was pretty respectable. Math, as expected, was deplorable.
