Happy Turkey Day!
Once again I am sitting here in disbelief at how fast time flies! Has Thanksgiving really come and gone? Is it really Sunday night and I have to go back to work tomorrow? Ugghh!
We had a nice long weekend. Thirty-six or so of my my cousins gathered to enjoy a tasty meal and spent time catching up on Thursday. Friday we spent QT with Granny, Grandpa, and Uncle Larry. Then Saturday Mom and I spent the afternoon performing our annual ritual of making and canning artichoke relish. This year we decided to do some pepper jelly as well. We had one small mishap where the peppers boiled over, but other than that all went smoothly.
And Saturday night I watched some of the pathetic Carolina-Clemson game and spent time with Melissa, Mrs. Sandra, Olivia, Elliott, and Zemp. I even got to see Melanie for few minutes which was a rare treat. Olivia is so big and so smart. She has gotten really fast on those little feet of hers and she had a great time showing off her fancy footwork skills for me. We had quite a few good laughs thanks to Pumpkin Olivia.
I looked at the wedding ticker today and couldn't believe our wedding is less than 5 months away! Plans are progressing smoothly and we're both excited.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. And in just 4 short weeks, we'll be wishing each other Merry Christmas!
