July 21, 2007...
This the official release date for the seventh and final installment of the Harry Potter series as reported today! In case you haven't already heard, the last book will be titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Like most HP fans I'm torn between being very excited to read more and very sad that the end is coming. Personally I have a feeling that the ending is going to be quite sad so I'm trying to prepare myself ahead of time for a tragic conclusion.
I'm currently re-reading the first six books to prepare for the release of the fifth movie and the seventh book. Even though I've already read each book several times, I still love them just as much this time around. And I continue to marvel the imagination of Jo Rowling. She's simply remarkable. It's my nightly ritual to read at least a few pages before bed, something I look forward to every day.
So the countdown begins to July 21, 2007.

I don't believe that Harry is going to make it out alive -- do you?
Very excited about the last book, even though I don't want it to be over.
I agree -- I have a feeling he's going to die in the last book. That makes me sad.
