Rediscovered!

I am ashamed to say how long I went without taking advantage of this wonderful place. I used to go all the time, on lunch break, in the evenings, on the weekends. It's a magical building full of potential, a place where, as a resident of Richland county, you can get the following things and so many more for virtually FREE: knowledge, answers, creativity, imagination, and self-esteem. And the more you use it, the closer it is to being FREE. Have you guessed what place I'm talking about? If you guessed, the LIBRARY you are correct. Richland County Public Library really is awesome. And the Southeast Branch is less than one mile from the house. There are no parking issues like the downtown branch (and it's well within walking or bike riding distance if you're brave enough to cross a very busy 4-lane intersection). And one of the best things is this: I can go online and request books from another branch of the library, and I can pick them up at my branch. These are just 4 of the 9 books I picked up today.

I am so excited about all the learning I'm going to be doing! Isn't it a wonderful feeling to rediscover something you used to enjoy so much?
