No baby YET!

Well its Friday afternoon and still no baby for Melissa and Elliott! Poor Melissa has been having contractions for over a day now but they subside during the daytime and when she's resting. So after a trip to the hospital last night to get checked, Melissa is back at home resting pretty comfortably and building her strength for the BIG labor.

I went for a short visit on Tuesday to see Melissa as well as Rebecca and her boys John Christian and Charlie who were down to see Melissa. I don't get to see Rebecca very often and this was first time I got to meet Charlie. This time last year Melissa and I went to visit Rebecca who was 7 months pregnant with Charlie at the time. Little did we know at the time that Melissa's baby would be making his or her debut so soon.

If the baby comes on Sunday he or she will have the same birthday as Guh Guh. And Melissa is coming pretty close to her due date of the 20th after all. So I'm still waiting for phone call to tell me to head to the hospital. In the meantime, I guess I'll do some cross stitch and catch up on some soaps! More baby updates to come.
