Bridal Brunch

On Feb. 23, six lovely ladies (Mrs. Mary Helen, Mrs. Mary Jo, Mrs. Judy, Mrs. Belle, Mrs. Susan) from Cameron hosted a brunch for me. The weather wasn't the best, but we had a great time anyway. The hostesses are friends of Mom's and a few are former teachers of mine from elementary school - Mrs. Belle taught me in the 4th grade and Mrs. Judy taught me in the 6th grade. I also used to stay with Mrs. Judy after school when I was in kindergarten). They served quite a feast including veggie quiche, fresh fruit, cheese biscuits, muffins, brownies, pecan cookies and lemon bars. We sat and visited and enjoyed being waited on by the hostesses. The ladies also gave me a beautiful black and gold laquered serving tray. The best part of these parties has been seeing lots of old friends (and getting to eat lots of yummy food ranks high on the list, too.)
