Special Treat

It's that time of year again. Easter is coming in just 6 short weeks, and of course every retail establishment completed their Easter inventory display before Valentine's Day was even officially over. And while I get annoyed with the way retailers rush us through the year, I do actually enjoy the length of time between Valentine's and Easter because I can readily enjoy one of my favorite seasonal treats: the Cadbury Creme Egg.

I enjoyed my first one tonight with a nice cup of coffee. I was in the throws of an intense chocolate craving when I suddenly remembered what time of year it was and went immediately to the nearest store to get one. According the Cadbury website, production of the Creme Egg continues year round to meet demand even though they're only sold January through April. Six more weeks to indulge and stock up before these gooey treats disappear with the Easter Bunny until 2008!
