Happy Thanksgiving!

Each year passes more quickly it seems. Here we are already on the eve of Thanksgiving. I've got the pumpkin cheesecake in the oven and the garden pea salad chilling in the fridge. I've managed to slice only one thumb open, but not to fret--no stitches needed. I truly want to take the time this year to reflect on all there is to be thankful for in life from the most profound to the simplest. So I'll start here.

I am thankful for God who makes all of these things possible, my adorable house, my very large, reliable and comfortable car, good health, the greatest boyfriend in the whole world, the most amazing mother, all my family, my boyfriend's family, all of my darling God-sent pets, fabulous friends, my job which pays my bills and buy my groceries, the ability to make things with my hands, living in South Carolina, the beach, the mountains, cable TV with DVR, Little House of the Prairie reruns, country music, Harry Potter, the Internet, technology, cell phones, air conditioning, fans, freedom, our Armed Forces who protect that freedom, dessert, refrigerators, electricity, swimming pools, vacations, a warm & comfortable bed, indoor plumbing, broccoli, oatmeal, baskets, notebooks to make lists in, White Out Dryline, hots dogs, Coke Zero, soft blankets, clean sheets, movies, books of all kinds, Christmas trees, being with the ones you love on holidays, and sooooo very many more things.

I hope everyone has a very safe and happy Thanksgiving!
