Four-wheelin' Fools!

Here's Mom preparing herself to a ride with Dave, the Sultan of Speed!

Last week we took our new 4-wheeler out for a day of fun down at our dear friend Dr. Holman's pond house. Mom and I own some land behind his property so we had a course, albeit small, to ride. Even Mom and her friend Debbie came by and were brave enough to take a ride with Dave. We got more experience operating the controls, testing the gears and the brakes and handling turns. Of course I am still a girl and therefore less willing than Dave to test the maximum capabilities of our new machine. But I did impress and surprise myself with how well I did driving and how fast I was willing to go. We all had a great time! Dave has been researching for more trails around South Carolina for us to ride. In the meantime Dave has been riding circles around the back yard, but he is itching for some more wide, open spaces. I have to admit I'm ready to ride again myself.
